As many of you may or may not remember, we made a staff decision to get a package price for the group photo from the 2010 WGI Championships.  By doing this, it was assured that instead of you paying $25 individually for your picture, you would only need to pay $11.
Mr. Claussen generously put the package on his credit card and is currently on the hook for this money.
Please, if you are still in the percussion ensemble, bring your money to the next rehearsal so that I can get Mr. Claussen back his money.  If you are not currently in the ensemble, please stop by one of our Tuesday rehearsals (6p-9p) or make arrangements with me to pick up your picture.
I would prefer cash but checks can be made out to Marten Claussen.

There will be two fall percussion camps being held at Salem High School.  These will both be on Friday evening and Saturday during the day.  The first camp will be Friday, July 30th and Saturday, July 31st and the second camp will be Friday, August 13th and Saturday, August 14th.  The times of the camps are Friday, 6pm-9pm & Saturday 9am-3pm.  You will be given about a half hour for lunch on Saturday and are asked to bring a bagged lunch as you will not have time to leave the facility.  These camps are required for all battery members and optional for front ensemble members.  Please remember to bring water, binders, marching shoes, etc.

We look forward to seeing everyone there.  Keep up the great work as you head into band camp.

Congratulations to the Salem (NH) winter percussion ensemble on being the 2010 NESBA Independent Marching A Champions!  You have all worked very hard and should be very proud of your accomplishments.  Thank you also to the hard working staff and volunteers.  Without all of you, this doesn't happen.  You are all a great group of people and I am very proud to be able to enjoy the wonderful ride you are taking us on.  I look forward to a very rewarding trip to Dayton in two weeks.  Remember, hard work will always trump talent!

I would like to take a moment to personally thank Mr. William Hallahan for coming to speak to the students last night about his experiences in Pearl Harbor and special thanks to Marie Sheehy for putting the event together.  Mr. Hallahan's presentation was very engaging and a moment that everyone will be able to take with them for a lifetime.
